Technical specification for MindTerm

MindTerm is an SSH Java library and an SSH client.

The SSH client is an implementation on top of the SSH library implementing a secure shell client that supports both SSH-1 and SSH-2 protocols.

The library is available for OEM customers to include in third party applications to enable secure communication.

MindTerm requires a Java run time environment (JRE) that supports Java 1.1.x or higher.

MindTerm is known to function on the following operating systems:

• Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP

• Apple MacOS 7 or higher

• Linux

• Solaris SPARC and x86

• HP-UX

• Nokia Communicator, PSION Netpad and Netbook, and many other hand-held devices.

The MindTerm applet works with the most Java-enabled browsers.
